The Medford Drive Walkway Project was completed on May 24, 2019
This project began in 2014 and cost approximately $750,000. It was funded in part through Fairfax County's 2014 Transportation Bond.
Community Meeting Scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016
Mason District Supervisor Penelope A. Gross and the Fairfax County Department of Transportation will host a community meeting to discuss County project 5G25-060-031, Medford Drive Walkway from Annandale High School to Davian Drive, on Thursday, October 13th, 2016, 7 p.m., in the cafeteria of Annandale High School, 4700 Medford Drive, Annandale, Virginia 22003. The project will construct approximately 475 linear feet of new sidewalk and curb and gutter on the east side of Medford Drive.

Project Background
This project completes a missing sidewalk link along the east side of Medford Drive. This project was identified as part of the Fairfax County’s 2014 Transportation Bond. Pre-final design plans were submitted to VDOT for review in January 2016. The project is currently in the land acquisition phase. Current construction cost estimate is $345,000.
