"You use a mirror to see your face; you use works of art to see your soul." - George Bernard Shaw
Project In-Sight combines both visual art and poetry to widen the door for self-expression in a non-juried exhibition. All works are welcome from both clients and staff of the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board. The exhibit strives to validate each person’s unique way of seeing the world.
David Edelman, Clinical Supervisor with the Youth & Family Team, says "We are excited about Project In-Sight going into its eleventh year. It is a fabulous opportunity for clients and staff to express themselves through the media of art and poetry.”
Friends of the Northwest Center Reston are encouraged to submit their entries through October 10 using the submission form. You can also get a printable Project In-Sight flier.
Artwork and poetry will be on display from October 10 through December 28, 2018.
Join us for a Project In-Sight Open House on Wednesday, October 17 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Northwest Center office (1850 Cameron Glen Drive, Suite 600, Reston).
