Charge Up Fairfax Success Stories

Charge Up Fairfax began in FY2023 and, as of August 2026, has supported EV charger installations in seven communities across Fairfax County.

Program staff coordinates with program participants to ensure Charge Up Fairfax is designed to best meet the needs of the diverse organizations throughout the county, specifically organizations in Fairfax County that are classified as a high or very high vulnerability area. The following charts provide a breakdown of the program participants by Board of Supervisor district and vulnerability status.

Encore of McLean Condominium Unit Owners Association installed four single-port chargers and received $7,000 in grant funding. The project was completed in January 2026.

Midtown North Condominium Unit Owners Association installed one dual-port charger and received $7,000 in grant funding.  The project was completed in August 2025.

Harpers Square Cluster Association installed two single-port chargers and received $5,000 in grant funding. The project was completed in October 2025.

Charge Up Fairfax

Charge Up Fairfax is a program to help organization install charging for electric vehicles (EVs). Charge Up Fairfax supports organizations in identifying and overcoming challenges, both technical and financial, to on-site EV charging.
