
Robert Sandoli has been appointed director of the county's Office of Environmental and Energy Coordination (OEEC), effective Monday, July 20. He succeeds John Morrill, who is retiring after serving with the department since 2020.
Sandoli brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience in energy, environmental policy and program management across local and federal government. He holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland, a Master of Science in microbiology from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in biotechnology from Rutgers University.
