The sun was out yesterday in Annandale as people gathered at Fairmont Gardens to participate in a wide range of public health activities:

• The Health Department provided 26 people with flu shots, onboard Fairfax County’s CareVan
• Food for Others distributed food donations
• Fairfax Church coordinated the food donations, with volunteers on hand to set up tables, distribute food, and clean up
• Legal Aid Justice Center volunteers answered community questions

Thanks to the public health nurses, Fairfax County staff, and volunteers who came out to make health happen!
