Vaccine Partners

The Fairfax County Health Department is partnering with several providers to expand access to vaccines within the Fairfax Health District. To help expedite the process, we distribute some vaccines regularly to community partners to help vaccinate people on our waitlist.

Important Information

  • Vaccines offered by the providers listed below are available BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Walk-in appointments WILL NOT be available.
  • If you receive a vaccine from a partner provider, you will also receive your second dose from that provider.
  • We are working diligently to administer vaccines to people on our waitlist as quickly as possible. As vaccines are available, they are allocated to the providers for you and you are sent an invitation to schedule an appointment. Therefore, based on availability, you may not have a choice about the location or vaccine administered. We encourage everyone to make an appointment as soon as they become available.
  • The COVID-19 vaccine is free for everyone. However, providing COVID-19 vaccines in a clinic setting is not without cost to the provider, so the federal government has authorized vaccine providers to bill an administrative fee to help defray costs associated with this increased service. Learn more.
  • We do everything possible to avoid vaccine wastage and have a strategic plan for how to use every dose. See our FAQs to learn more.
