Law Enforcement Training Unit (LETU)

The Law Enforcement Training Unit (LETU), operating under the command of FCCJA, is dedicated to training and developing incumbent officers through progressive, realistic, and contemporary instruction. LETU reviews body-worn camera (BWC) footage and operational incidents to identify training needs and develop evolving training programs focused on challenging uses of force, officer safety, decision-making, de-escalation, and effective public interactions. The unit is committed to preparing officers to meet the evolving demands of modern law enforcement while maintaining professionalism, accountability, and public trust.

Firearms Range

FCCJA operates its own firearms range to support the training and qualification of recruits and incumbent officers. The range provides a controlled and professional environment for firearms instruction, tactical training, skills development, and ongoing proficiency to ensure officers maintain the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and operational readiness.
