The Chaplain Unit is comprised of a group of ordained faith leaders within their respective ministries who volunteer their time to provide support for our personnel through a ministry of presence within their assigned police district. The unit has more than ten chaplains of varying denominations who provide a listening ear for our personnel as well as faith counseling and prayer when requested by employees. The chaplains also respond to various critical incidents throughout the county to provide support for first responder and affected members of the community during their greatest times of need. These requests are coordinated by FCPD personnel on scene and fulfilled by our Health & Wellness Division.
