Considering a career in law enforcement?

Police Leaders of Tomorrow is a program for young adults wishing to explore careers in law enforcement and learn about policing. The program offers a variety of activities and opportunities for attendees to learn about the police profession, the importance of service to the community, and maintaining good character.

Eligibility

Police Leaders of Tomorrow is offered free of charge and is open to young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 in the Metro Washington Area.

Class size is limited. Participants are expected to provide their own transportation.

Acceptance into the program is subject to a successful review of applicant's criminal record and police contact history.

Details

Classes will be held June 22 – 26, 2026:

  • Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at various police facilities in Fairfax County
  • Application deadline is June 8, 2026
