Franconia-Springfield Bus Service Review

The Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) conducted  the Franconia-Springfield Bus Service Review to better understand how people get around the Franconia-Springfield area of Fairfax County on the Fairfax Connector transit network. This review is part of FCDOT's ongoing efforts to enhance Fairfax Connector bus connections, and get people to their destinations in the most efficient and convenient way possible. Input from residents is a key component of improving service because the feedback is incorporated into recommendations for future transit improvements in the Franconia-Springfield area.

The compiled information and analysis on Franconia Springfield is now part of Fairfax Connector's Transit Strategic Plan.

FCDOT hosted two virtual community meetings on proposed Fairfax Connector bus service improvements in the Franconia and Springfield areas. The meetings provided an opportunity for attendees to view and provide input on the final preferred alternative.
