Project Background

The Chesterbrook Road Walkway Project is intended to provide a continuous pedestrian facility along the southside of the roadway from Maddux Lane to 41st Street, enhancing pedestrian safety to use for recreational activities and to get to and from work or school.

The project includes approximately 3,200 feet of concrete sidewalk, curb  and gutter installation, and drainage improvements within the project limits. Other infrastructure improvements include curb ramp upgrades, driveway entrance replacement and roadway crossing enhancements.

This will connect to other recently completed walkway projects, which will provide a consistent walkway from Kirby Road to 41st Street. Please be advised the County has a separate project at the intersection of Chesterbrook Road and N. Albemarle Street to address roadway drainage issues.
