All residents of Fairfax County or the cities of Fairfax or Falls Church can access CSB emergency services.
- Any Fairfax/Falls Church resident who has a concern related to mental health, substance use, or developmental disability may contact or visit CSB’s Entry and Referral Services for screening and help in finding appropriate treatment and resources, either from the CSB or from other providers in our community.
- Any Fairfax/Falls Church resident with a child age 0 to 3 who has or is at risk of developmental delay and meets certain eligibility requirements can access Infant and Toddler Connection services.
- Most other, non-emergency CSB services are primarily for people whose conditions seriously impact their ability to manage the daily activities of life.
The CSB is continuously challenged by more requests for services than there are resources to provide. Guidelines have been developed, through a collaborative community effort, to ensure that our staff and fiscal resources are being used effectively to address our community’s most pressing needs, in compliance with federal, state and local mandates.
