Alert:
Fairfax County’s Office of Environmental and Energy Coordination (OEEC) and Department of Transportation (DOT), along with Charge@Work, are partnering to help businesses power up their workplace charging programs. On November 14 at 12 p.m. ET, they’ll host the “Opportunities to Charge@Work: A Green Business Partners and Best Workplaces for Commuters Webinar” to demonstrate a new free online tool to plan and implement electric vehicle charging at your business.
Charge@Work aims to engage over 50,000 workplaces, influencing hundreds of thousands of employees, and promoting the installation of 100,000-plus EV charging stations to build an equitable e-mobility infrastructure. They’re committed to ensuring 40% of outreach targets priority communities often overlooked in transportation policy.
Through the Green Business Partners program, OEEC is recognizing and supporting businesses actively engaging in or interested in business practices that advance climate action and help create a carbon-neutral economy. The program celebrates current leaders in this field, shares resources like grants or other incentives, and gives a platform for learning through peer exchange.
Best Workplaces for Commuters (BWC), a Fairfax County Commuter Service program, has garnered national recognition by offering services, incentives and perks to employers who excel in implementing green commuter programs, such as ridesharing, biking and walking, teleworking, alternative work schedules and EVs.
Join this webinar to get an overview of all three programs and explore the future of workplace charging. Learn more and register for this event below.
