Tech Support Scam

(Posted 2019 March)

According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), tech support scammers want you to believe you have a serious problem with your computer. They want you to pay for tech support services you don't need in order to fix a problem that doesn't exist. Last year, the FTC received 143,000 reports about tech support scams costing hundreds of millions of dollars.
