Consolidated Community Funding Pool

The Consolidated Community Funding Pool (CCFP) is a competitive funding process for human services programs developed and administered by nonprofits and community-based organizations. The funding allocated to organizations through the CCFP serves as an investment and catalyst for strengthening the human services network of programs available for Fairfax County residents.

CCFP NEWS ALERT

On June 3, 2025, Neighborhood and Community Services (NCS) presented a series of strategic recommendations to the Health and Human Services Committee, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Consolidated Community Funding Pool (CCFP). These recommendations included both long-term strategies for sustained improvement and targeted suggestions specifically for the FY 27-28 funding cycle.

A significant change proposed was the removal of Emergency Food and Housing services from the CCFP, transitioning these to a traditional procurement process to better address these critical needs. As part of this transition, the Request for Proposals (RFP) for Emergency Food and Housing services will follow a separate timeline from the CCFP.  This RFP is anticipated to be released in early December 2025, with a submission deadline anticipated in early February 2026.  The adjusted timeline is designed to streamline the proposal submission process and ensure efficiency.

Meanwhile, the CCFP – covering categories previously referred to as RFP I - is expected to be released early September 2025. Organizations interested in pursuing funding opportunities are encouraged to register on the Commonwealth’s procurement platform eVA at https://eva.virginia.gov/, which serves as the primary hub for announcements and notifications regarding contracting opportunities.
