Important Registration Information

To allow more time for customers to make Winter Camp selections we have adjusted the registration date.  

Registration for Winter Camps Begins Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 9 a.m.

Join the Fun in Fall Camps!

When schools close for student holidays or cultural observances, Fairfax County Park Authority has you covered with camp opportunities. Explore the numerous fun opportunities for children to learn new skills and meet new friends this fall:   

  • Thursday-Friday, Oct. 3-4 
  • Monday, Oct. 14 
  • Friday, Nov. 1 
  • Monday-Tuesday, Nov. 4-5  
  • Monday, Nov. 11 

  • Camp cancellations may be done online through your house account. All cancellations/transfers/refunds/credits require 14 days advance notice of the camp you are cancelling. There is a $25 cancellation fee applied to all refunds.
  • If you cancel your camp within 13 days of the start of camp, you will NOT receive money back, but the system will allow you to drop out.
  • Transfers may not be done online. If you wish to transfer from one camp to another, you can avoid the cancellation fee by contacting the registration desk (703-222-4664) to process the change. Transfers require 14 days advance notice for the camp you are withdrawing from. Transfers cannot be done within 13 days of the start of a camp.
  • You can request a refund or transfer 14 days in advance by emailing us at camps@fairfaxcounty.gov.
  • There are no refunds or credits for missed days due to work/vacation schedules, sick days or other non-emergency reasons.
  • Within 14 days of the start of a camp session, refunds are only approved for medical emergencies with a doctor’s note if it is received before the camp ends.
  • If a medical emergency occurs during camp, a doctor’s note is required within 24 hours for a pro-rated refund. Requests received after the camp session ends will not be granted.

  2. Complete the camp forms included at the end of the 2024 Parent Handbook and bring them the first day of camp.
  3. Review the other sections below to determine if you need to submit any additional paperwork.

Help us make your campers’ experience the best it can be. Fairfax County Park Authority welcomes campers of all abilities, backgrounds and experiences. Please let us know if your child has any emotional or behavioral challenges as well as any intellectual or physical disabilities. Please reach out to us at fcpaaccess@fairfaxcounty.gov or fill out the Request Accommodations form online with additional details about your camper in advance of the camp start date.

Please provide advanced notice of any accommodation requests. If the request is less than 10 days before the start date, the Park Authority will attempt to provide services; however, we cannot guarantee your accommodation request will be fulfilled.
