Golf Fairfax Tees Up for Tournaments of Champions

GolfStep onto the green this summer and compete in one of Golf Fairfax’s Club Championship tournaments. With fun prizes and friendly competition, these tournaments give players an exciting platform to showcase their skills and offer the opportunity to be crowned the best in their division.

Women’s and Men’s Senior & Men’s Super Senior Club Championships (Aug. 8 at 9 a.m. at Greendale Golf Course): Players compete in an 18-hole individual stroke play tournament. Prizes will be awarded for first place, low gross and net in each division. A current Greendale handicap is required. Registration closes on Aug. 1. Cost is $75 per person and includes practice round (Aug. 1) power cart, tournament day greens fee, power cart, breakfast, lunch and prizes.

Men’s Club Championship (Aug. 12 at Greendale Golf Course): Players compete in an 18-hole individual stroke play tournament, tee time start. Minimum of eight players required per division. Prizes awarded for first place low gross and net. A current Greendale handicap is required. Registration required by Aug. 6. Cost is $95 per person and includes weekday practice round (Aug. 8) power cart, tournament day greens fee and power cart, breakfast, lunch and prizes.

Club Championship (Aug. 19 at Jefferson Golf Course): Participants 18 years and older, compete in an 18-hole stroke play tournament. Players are placed into flights based on their first 9-hole score. Cost is $50 per player.

PC9 Championship (Sept. 3 at Pinecrest Golf Course): Players aged 7 years and older compete in a 9-hole individual stroke tournament. There will be a men’s and a women’s division. Prizes for first, second and third place, in both divisions. Registration is limited to the first 48 athletes. A closest to the pin contest is included. Cost is $45 per player.

Club Championship (Sept. 9 at Oak Marr Golf Center): Players aged 12 and older will compete in an 18-hole stroke play tournament. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, third and closest to the pin. Tee times will be assigned two days before the event. Cost is $45 per player.
