Help Spread Holiday Cheer to Older Adults

This holiday season, while many of us prepare to gather with loved ones and excitedly hang up decorations, there are older adults and adults with disabilities in our community who are facing daily challenges accessing even basic necessities. A toothbrush, hand lotion, a blanket — items many of us take for granted but would notice if they were suddenly not available.  

To give these neighbors a warm reminder that their community cares, we need your help! Join with the Department of Family Services, Adult and Aging Division, and help spread warmth and cheer through our Holiday Care Package Drive.

Provide a Blanket
Make the holiday season brighter by donating one or more throw-sized blankets. 

To keep your gift thoughtful and accessible for all, please do NOT gift wrap blankets and ensure all items are new, gender-neutral, and avoid holiday or religious patterns.

Donate Wishlist Items
Personal care and accessibility items are essential but can often be overlooked. Purchase from our Amazon Wishlist and directly contribute these critical items to our neighbors in need.

All blankets and wishlist donations must arrive at the Area Agency on Aging by Wednesday, December 2, 2026.
