Health care personnel and long-term care facility residents and staff who live or work in the Fairfax Health District* are currently eligible to register.
Health care personnel includes:
- Primary caregivers of persons with chronic medical conditions or intellectual or developmental disabilities requiring a high level of daily care
- The following health care workers:
- Dental assistant, hygienist or dentist
- EMT or a first responder serving as an EMT extender
- Environmental services worker
- Healthcare trainee or volunteer
- Home health worker
- Infection control and quality assurance professional
- Laboratorian
- Mortician/funeral home staff
- Nurse, nursing assistant or nurse practitioner
- Optometrist
- Personal care aide
- Pharmacist, pharmacy tech or pharmacy workers
- Physician or physician assistant
- Public-facing public health worker
- Radiological or other diagnostic/therapeutic tech
- Respiratory, physical, speech or occupational therapist
- The following human services employees that provide in-person services to clients or the public:
- Community health workers
- Social workers
- Case managers or case workers
- Crisis counselors
- Foster care managers
- Adult protective services personnel
- Child protective services personnel
- Domestic violence counselors
- Human trafficking prevention and recover personnel
- Behavioral specialists
- Substance abuse-related counselors.
Long-term care facility residents and staff include:
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Assisted living facility
- Homes for the aged
- Intellectual and developmental disabilities residential centers
- Group homes
- State Veterans homes
- Family care homes
