If you have a TB Risks you should consider being tested for TB
To determine if you have TB germs in your body, your doctor may give you a blood test. The TB blood test is the recommended test for all individuals over the age of two. Children ages six months to two years receive a skin test.
Your doctor will take a blood sample from your arm for testing and you will be able to know your test results within few days.

TB Test Results
Negative TB Test
If your test result is negative, it means you do not have any TB germs in your body. It is important to know that you may breathe in TB germs at some point in the future. If you travel to a place where TB is common or notice symptoms similar to TB, speak to your doctor immediately.
Positive TB Test
If your TB test is positive, it means you have TB germs in your body. TB infection can be treated to stop the germs from making you sick. A chest x-ray will be recommended to make sure you do not have TB in your lungs.
