It is easier to treat latent TB infection than TB disease, so be sure to follow your doctor’s orders for your treatment.

Active TB Disease Treatment

Active TB disease is treatable with medication prescribed by your doctor. It can be cured as long as you follow the treatment as prescribed. Treating active TB disease takes longer and can involve more factors than treating latent TB infection.
