Fairfax Democratic Committee BackpacksThe Fairfax County Department of Family Services has been overwhelmed with the outpouring of community donations of backpacks and school supplies this year. We are so appreciative for the support that our donors and partners provided to the children and families we serve. The Volunteer & Partner Services program wants to highlight the incredible donations we received from these sponsors:

  • Fairfax County Democratic Committee provided 270 backpacks filled with school supplies for children in kindergarten-college.
  • Comfort Cases gave 200 backpacks stuffed with school supplies for children in kindergarten-middle school.
  • His Church Life Acts Community Care donated 87 backpacks full of school supplies for children in kindergarten-3rd grade.
  • Amyx – A Tetra Tech Company contributed several boxes of school supplies.
  • Touching Heart donated school supplies for our children in foster care.

We would not be able to support the children in our community without our donors. If you are interested in donating to Volunteer & Partner Services to support children and families in need, please send us an email.
