Whether you’re a potential, seasoned or new volunteer, partner, donor, or sponsor, it is important to remember and acknowledge that Volunteer and Partner Services was developed in September 2013 with the purpose of providing direct or indirect services to prevent child abuse and neglect. Without all of you, we could not continue to accomplish that goal.

It was our honor to celebrate with all of you during our Annual Volunteer and Partner Appreciation Dinner on April 18 at Fairfax Church. It was an evening filled with recognition of the people who keep our programs going, support the children and families in our community, and embody what it means to give back. Your dedication inspires us and is truly impactful to our community.

A special thank you to our musical guests Harmony Road and honored speakers Nancy Dunaway with ST. MARK Catholic Church; Erica Glembocki, a volunteer with the VPS Administrative Assistant Program; BeFriend-A-Child mentor Tim Mathew; Fairfax County Public School principal from Deer Park Elementary School Bob D’Amato, Fairfax County employee and donor Rebecca Peek, VPS Body Safety Program facilitator Jacqueline Hess, VPS intern Morgan Stohler, and Tickets for Kids DMV regional manager Rachel Simon.

We want to thank everyone who was able to attend and extend our deepest gratitude to all the donors from Fairfax County and beyond who contributed to the fun, food, prizes, giveaways, and more. You helped make the night a success!
