The holiday season is a time to spread joy and warmth. One of the most meaningful gifts we can offer is our support to those in need. As we gather with our loved ones, many of us reflect on ways to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
There are many older adults and adults with disabilities in our community facing challenges obtaining the basic necessities others take for granted. For these people, such essentials are not just needed but deeply appreciated.
The Adult and Aging Division of Fairfax County's Department of Family Services is seeking donations of new towel sets and hygiene items to include in this year’s holiday project gift bags. Each donation brings comfort and seasonal cheer and serves as a heartfelt reminder that our community cares.
UPDATE Nov. 18:
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our wonderful donors, we've successfully reached our goal of collecting 200 brand-new towel sets! We are very grateful, and our donation drive is still on.
We need several items from our WISH LIST for the holiday gift bags that will accompany the towel sets. Please visit our Wish List.
