Bring your child to CSB Emergency Services at the Sharon Bulova Center for Community Health, 8221 Willow Oaks Corporate Drive, Lower Level, Fairfax, or call them at 703-573-5679, TTY 711.
Call 911 if it is a life-threatening emergency. Make sure to notify the operator that it is a psychiatric emergency, and ask for an officer trained in crisis intervention or trained to assist people experiencing a psychiatric emergency.

Fairfax-Falls Church CSB Behavioral Health Services for Children, Youth and Families provide behavioral health services for children and youth who have serious emotional and mental health issues and/or substance use issues. Based on an individualized assessment, children, youth and families are offered a treatment plan tailored to their specific strengths and needs.
Fairfax County Public Schools Student Safety and Wellness Resources have a wealth of reference materials and resources on topics from mental health to bullying prevention to food and nutrition services.
Healthy Minds Fairfax Behavioral Health Directory resource guide was created to help families identify a behavioral health provider for their children and family. The providers listed in this directory have been identified as offering free or low-cost services for behavioral health services.
Support for Caregivers
NAMI Northern Virginia offers assistance for individuals affected by mental health conditions through support, education, and advocacy.
Online NAMI Virginia Family Support Group for Parents of Children 17 and under is offered via Zoom on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Email mwalsh@namivirginia.org to sign up.
Formed Families Forward is a nonprofit organization that supports foster, kinship and adoptive families of children and youth with disabilities and other special needs. They offer parent/caregiver support groups that meet virtually at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesdays; sign up to attend.

Fairfax County Public Schools Family Resource Center offers free webinars, confidential consultations, a lending library, and resources to help adults support the success of all students, including those with learning challenges, special needs, and disabilities.
Healthy Minds Fairfax directory of REACH-trained pediatricians only consists of medical professionals who have received training through the REACH (Resource for Advancing Children's Health) Institute that was sponsored by Inova Health System and Healthy Minds Fairfax. Please contact your child’s pediatrician to find out if they have received REACH training.
Coordinated Services Planning provides access and referrals to both government and community-based resources for Fairfax County residents in need. People facing difficulties – including food, shelter, employment, financial assistance, health care, cell phone and wireless access, and other needs – can call 703-222-0880 for assistance. CSP provides services in multiple languages, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
