Mount Vernon District Supervisor Dan Storck is excited to announce the 8th Annual Senior Summit will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026. Our partnership with Neighborhood and
Community Services continues to support this annual event. The goal of this event is to educate and inform attendees about County resources available to our senior community.
Location: Lorton Community Center, 9520 Richmond Hwy.
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Parking: Parking will be available at the Community Center. Additional overflow parking will be available across the street at the South County Little League Field. Fastran shuttles will circulate to bring people to the Community Center.
10:00 - 11:30 a.m.: Exhibit Hall
11:30 a.m.: Exhibit Hall Closes and Lunch Begins
12:00 p.m.: Presentations Begin
The presentation portion will include remarks by Supervisor Dan Storck, Chairman Jeff McKay and other County and local groups that will discuss information and opportunities for seniors in Fairfax County. Don't forget to stay during the presentations to be eligible to win prizes in the free raffle giveaway!
