Board of Supervisors - Mount Vernon District Alert:
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at 5 p.m. for the new playground at Bucknell Manor Park, and the public is invited to attend.
The updated facility features two play areas to appeal to children of different ages. It includes new borders, subsurface drainage and child safety fencing that has been designed to meet all safety and ADA standards. The asphalt trail that leads to the playground also has been resurfaced to bring it up to ADA standards.
