Calling all high school artists and environmental advocates! The Mount Vernon District Supervisor’s Office is hosting its first Environment Expo: Saving the Earth One Person at a Time. We are officially announcing a logo contest in conjunction with the Expo, which will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 8 a.m. – noon at Walt Whitman Middle School. We are looking for a logo to represent our new event and to show what a healthier planet looks like from a youth perspective. Submit your entry, then join us for a great morning of learning, engaging and acting to protect our environment and the community we live in!

Logo can be digital or hand drawn. 4” x 4”.
Must include words “Environment Expo”.
Submission deadline: October 31, 2018
Voting to take place: November 10, 2018 at Expo
Winner Announced: Noon on November 10
Winning logo may be used for future Expos and all entries will receive a certificate of participation. Entrants are encouraged to attend the Expo.
Entries must include: Entrant name, address, phone and email (can be parent contact information).
Digital entries should be sent as a jpg and/or pdf to Camela Speer.
