More than 160 teens and young adults visited the Discover Your Path Expo on Saturday, January 10, 2026, to learn about post-high school resources and educational options.
The expo, held at Thomas Edison High School in Alexandria, showed participants to a variety of pathways, including jobs in health care, trades and entrepreneurship.

Among the offerings were workshops and speaker panels on topics such as resume writing, paying for college, improving your LinkedIn presence, Mental Health 101 and more. Participants took part in mock interviews, had the opportunity to connect with potential employers and to register for free GED, SAT, ACT and GMAT prep classes.
There was also panel discussion from the One Brotherhood organization. The panel talked about self-improvement, togetherness and job-seeking.
