The Mount Vernon Concert Band is part of the Mount Vernon Community Bands nonprofit organization. Its main purpose is to provide a place for musicians to hone their talents, while also offering performances for community organizations and local venues. We enjoy playing a variety of classical pieces, showtunes, historic marches, pop hits, and other toe-tapping selections. For the concert on July 19, you can count on us playing music from Wicked, Variations on a Korean Folk Song and music by Gustav Holst.
