Rec Center Open House: Discover and Connect on September 22!

Bring a friend or neighbor and enjoy everything your Rec Center has to offer for FREE on Tuesday, Sept. 22! Attend from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. for special programming such as fitness demonstrations, sample classes, a membership table with giveaways, arts and crafts and other fun activities depending on the location. Admission requires sign up for a free, 7-day trial membership or the purchase a 30-day for $30 pass.

FAQs

Extension requests must be made prior to absence. Memberships can be deactivated at Rec Center front desk or online. Only one extension per year will be granted for membership holders. A minimum 30 days and a maximum of 90 days can be granted. Rec Center manager approval is required for all membership extensions.

Request Membership Pause

Recurring Billing Membership

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted at least fourteen (14) days prior to the requested cancellation date.
  • Members will be billed for ONE additional bi-weekly cycle prior to cancellation.
  • Memberships will remain active for use during the last cycle. Members will receive a confirmation notice after receipt of the FCPA Membership Cancellation Form by the Park Authority Business Office.
  • FCPA reserves the right to cancel this membership at any time. There are no credits for previously made payments.

Annual Memberships, Discount Fast Passes, Personal Training, Private Swim, Aqua Flex, Racquetball Passes

  • Credits are given for the unused portion of the pass from date request received.
  • Annual Memberships will be credited by the number of days remaining times the daily rate.
  • Discount Fast Passes and other fixed visit passes will be credited by the number of visits remaining times daily rate.
  • No credits or extensions will be given for expired passes.
  • Memberships sold to multiple participants (families, two persons or more, seniors and youth) must be credited together as the complete package and cannot be separated to accommodate individual requests.
  • A $15 processing fee will be assessed to all credits
REQUEST MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

Find community and tools to improve your health and well-being at Fairfax County Park Authority Rec Centers. Membership provides access to all Rec Centers across the county. Membership includes access to pools, spas and saunas; Fitness Centers with a variety of exercise equipment; courts and gym spaces for sports activities; locker rooms; and drop-in group fitness classes (Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, etc.). More opportunities are available at additional cost such as childcare, personal training, classes, camps, amusements, rentals and events. Rec Center members receive a discount on childcare services — find prices online.

Choose either Annual or Month to Month membership. Join with friends and extended family — purchase with a maximum of eight people on one membership. If you have a group living at the same residence, purchase membership in person at a Rec Center with proof of residency for an additional discount.

This discounted rate for Rec Center membership is available to families and friends/roommates who live at the same address. You can only sign up for this package in person at a Rec Center with proof of residency for all adults on this group membership. Proof of residency can include driver’s licenses, state issued IDs, utility bills, tax documents, bank statements, government documents with mailing address, mortgage documents or lease agreements.

Scroll to the “Need to Chancel/Pause Membership” section on this webpage and complete the form to submit your membership change request. These requests are completed manually, a staff member will be in touch when the request has been completed or if they have need additional information to process your request.

Only the Primary Member can request changes to a membership. The Primary Member is the main account holder responsible for managing the membership, including payments, renewals, and providing proof of residency for family memberships. They also serve as the main point of contact for any updates or changes. Membership change requests can be made online using the cancellation or pause form.

Discounted rates are offered for:

  • Youth who are ages 5 to 18 years
  • Students who are ages 19 to 24 with a valid high school, college or vocational school identification
  • Seniors who are age 65 years and up

Children up to 4 years old can enter Rec Centers for free with an adult/senior admission.

Discounts for General Admission and the Cub Run Indoor Water Park are offered to families — a total of five individuals (1 to 2 adults and up to 4 children). A facility group rate of 10% daily general admission for groups of 12 or more with advance reservation and a single payment.

General Admission and the Discount Fast Pass discounts are offered for those who live in Fairfax County with proof of residence.

Unsure if you want to join? Purchase general admission for a single entry into any Rec Center! General admission provides access to the pool, spa, sauna, Fitness Center, drop-in group fitness classes and other amenities where available. Please note that general admission is no longer valid once you leave the Rec Center.

Using courts requires an additional fee for anyone who is not a monthly or annual Rec Center member. Anyone who is not a Rec Center member (annual or month to month) will need to pay an additional hourly fee to use  Racquetball/Wallyball/Handball courts. Court rental fees are $6 per hour or $35 for ten hours. Court rental fees are waived for Wallyball groups of six or more.

Any non-participating adult who is accompanying a fee-paying youth, will be charged a $3 chaperone fee. This fee is not applicable for the Cub Run Rec Center Indoor Water Park.
