What Happens After Stream Restoration?

Stream restorations make streams more stable, prevent pollution, and improve habitats for plants and animals by adding native plants, floodplain wetlands, and streambeds that have better water flow and capture woody debris. Additionally, stream restoration helps protect roads, bridges, and other infrastructure, as well as public and private property. This improves the quality of life for the community.
