On March 17, 2020, a Fairfax County deputy sheriff was charged with two counts of sexual assault. The City of Fairfax Police Department is conducting the investigation, and the Sheriff’s Office is continuing to cooperate. The deputy was placed on administrative leave. He resigned in lieu of pending termination. Please refer to the City police for more information.
