The table below highlights various funding sources that businesses and organizations in Fairfax County can take advantage of to support sustainability improvement projects. This table is intended to be an informational source and may not include all eligibility or financial requirements.

Some term definitions are:

  • Tax credit or credit generally refers to an amount taxpayers can claim on their tax return.
  • Tax exemption generally refers to a reduction or eliminating paying certain taxes.
  • Rebates generally refers to a partial refund to an upfront cost.
  • Cost-share generally refers to when a portion of the total cost is covered by the program.
