Our Adopt-A-Family Program was developed to help children and families who are in need of clothing, food, and toys during the holiday season. Every fall, our program begins accepting donations to support families who are working with the Fairfax County Department of Family Services. This program matches generous donors with identified families to make their holidays more joyful.
This program has been expanding by helping more children and families each year since its inception in 2006. In 2022 nearly 500 donors provided comfort and joy for 685 families and brought smiles and laughter to 1,537 children. You can help the program’s influence to continue growing in 2023.
If your family, business, company, organization, or faith-based group is interested in helping to support a family experiencing difficult times during the holidays, then this is the program for you!
This year we have revamped how you sign up to become a donor. If you are interested in becoming a donor, please fill out the Adopt-A-Family Donor Form.
Please know you can also help families at the holidays, or any time of the year, by making a monetary contribution or providing gift cards for food, clothing, toys, or new baby items. Read more about how to make an impact for families year-round.
If you have any questions, you can learn more online about the Adopt-A-Family program or please feel free to email us.
