(Posted 2026 January)

Money is tight for many families in our community. The cost of just about everything seems to be on the rise. Personal hygiene items are no exception. The Department of Family Services Volunteer and Partner Services is requesting donations of these items in support of families we serve.

Fairfax County Department of Family Services Only Accepts NEW, full-sized, packaged, and sealed hygiene products. So, you can help a family today by picking up some extra items while doing your own shopping.

We encourage inclusive donations of personal hygiene items for all genders, ages (children, teens, and adults), backgrounds, and ethnicities.

Items will not be accepted for drop off without prior coordination via email. Email Samantha.Carrico@fairfaxcounty.gov to arrange drop off.
