Many serious crash injuries and deaths can be prevented with proper use of child safety seats. In Virginia, child passenger safety laws require all children under 8 to be properly secured in a child safety seat or booster seat, regardless of weight or height.
In partnership with the Virginia Department of Health (VDH), the Health Department provides free child safety seats to qualifying families. Caregivers interested in this opportunity must attend a child safety seat class. Classes are offered at multiple locations in Fairfax County.
Call 703-246-8850 to register.
