The purpose of a floodplain study is to establish the limits of flooding within or near a proposed development activity when an acceptable delineation does not already exist, or when proposed development may change flood boundaries.
A water quality impact assessment (WQIA) is an analysis of the impacts on water quality when a project is proposed within a Resource Protection Area (RPA).
The assessment gathers historical and other readily available information on site conditions and surroundings to evaluate whether the site poses a potential threat to human health and the environment and whether further investigation is needed.
A geotechnical report is required to determine the character and physical properties of soil deposits for use as structure foundation or material for earthwork construction purposes.
Parking studies may contain a request to reduce parking below code requirements for the designated use or include a parking redesignation plan when parking spaces are added, eliminated or rearranged, and no other changes require submission of a site plan or minor site plan.
