Several years ago I started my tradition of taking a First Hike on New Year's Day! I love getting out in nature to clear my head and enjoy the wildlife. I invite you all to save the date and join me and the Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail for a First Hike on January 1, 2025, at 10 a.m. from Collingwood Park to one of our hidden gems – River Farm, and back.
