On April 11, 2023, the Board of Supervisors authorized the consideration of a Plan amendment for Tax Map Parcels 49-1 ((19)) A, C, D, E2, F1, F2, F3, F4, G, H, 1, 2, 3 and 4 to allow redevelopment as residential mixed use up to 1.35 FAR on Sub-unit D1.
Specific considerations for this proposal will include potential impacts to public facilities, compatible transitions to residential uses on adjacent sites, the proposed expansion of recommendations for urban-character redevelopment (currently reserved for Sub-unit D2) to a larger area, and opportunities for improving connectivity with nearby uses in the Dunn Loring Transit Station Area and Mosaic District Town Center.
