Data Centers

On March 19, 2024, the Board of Supervisors directed staff to prepare a Zoning Ordinance amendment to strengthen the current provisions for data centers. Public hearings are scheduled before the Planning Commission on June 5, 2024 and before the Board of Supervisors on July 16, 2024. This webpage will be updated with additional information about the proposed amendment and upcoming meetings.

Community Engagement

Community meetings have been scheduled in May 2024 to discuss the proposed Data Centers Zoning Ordinance amendment. All four meetings will be held virtually and include the same content. The different dates and times are intended to provide flexibility for attendees.
