Project Update: August 1, 2024

The construction contract has been recently awarded and coordination of construction activities has begun.

Project Background

Improvements to this station have been identified to provide reliable service for the service area and upgrade equipment that has reached the end of its useful life.

Project Description

This project will rehabilitate the existing pump station by replacing equipment that has reached its useful life, expand pump station capacity to meet future growth needs, and replace the existing force main servicing the station. The contract has been awarded to Northeast Remsco Construction, Inc. and is included in the FY 2025-FY 2029 Adopted Capital Improvement Program (With Future Fiscal Years to FY 2034). The construction contract for this project will include a Project Labor Agreement (PLA).
