The Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services, in partnership with Lee District Supervisor Rodney Lusk, DeLune Corp, and community-based organizations, are holding free food distribution events every Thursday in June.

These drive-thru events allow for contact-free distribution of one week’s worth of fresh dairy, milk and produce. No eligibility is required, but individuals are asked to wear a face covering at the events.

Dates, locations and times are as follows:

At Gerry Hyland Government Center, 8350 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA 22309:

• Thursday, June 4 at 1 p.m.

• Thursday, June 11 at 1 p.m.

• Thursday, June 18 at 1 p.m.

At the Journey Church, 6427 Franconia Road, Springfield, VA 22150

• Thursday, June 25 at 1 p.m.
