To mark Black History Month, the Fairfax County Government and Cox Communications will present “Unite, Uplift and Celebrate: A Black History Month Celebration.”
The program will take place on Friday, Feb. 23, 5:30 – 8 p.m. at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA, 5:30 – 8 p.m.
The theme of this year’s program is “The Value of Telling Our Stories.” Join us to hear more about the history and journey of Fairfax County community leaders.
The program will include interactive activities, exhibits, live performances, remarks from county officials, refreshments, and enlightening discussion with a panel of local community leaders who are committed to sharing Black history in diverse ways.
