Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services is pleased to announce the new Technology Lending Program available at 12 NCS centers.
The program, offered through the Bridging the Digital Divide for Older Adults and People with Disabilities Project, addresses the gaps in accessibility, affordability and technical ability by increasing engagement and connection between older adults, people with disabilities and other community residents through the enrichment of resources at NCS facilities.
Borrowers must be a Fairfax County resident or hold a non-resident NCS membership, show photo ID or proof of address, and pass a skills test or have training in the equipment they seek to borrow. The lending period for the Technology Lending Program is 14 days.
Available equipment includes:
- Canon EOS
- Chromebook (Coming Soon)
- Cricut Maker (Design Application Required)
- Oculus Meta Quest II
- Flashforge Adventurer Pro 3D Printer (Design Application Required)
