MBK Local Action Youth Summit a Growth Opportunity for Fairfax County Teens

Your voice matters! Fairfax County youth and young adults aged 14 and older are invited to join Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services and My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) for the Local Action Summit on May 30, 2026.

The summit is 10 a.m. — 2 p.m. at Luther Jackson Middle School, 3020 Gallows Rd., Falls Church, VA. Admission is free, but registration is encouraged (walk-ins welcome). Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

This is an opportunity to help influence the future of programs, supports and opportunities for boys and young men of color in Fairfax County.

Highlights of the summit:

  • Learn more about MBK Fairfax.
  • Connect with youth and community leaders.
  • Share ideas to help shape the MBK Fairfax Local Action Plan.
  • Discover ways to get involved and drive real change.
  • Explore local organizations at a community resource fair.

MBK is a national movement dedicated to empowering boys and young men of color to lead change and reach their full potential. MBK Fairfax, a certified MBK community, puts this commitment into action by giving youth meaningful opportunities to shape programs and policies that support boys and young men of color.
