Featured Artists! Wendy Lanxner and Sandy Roachford, Music and Move!
Explore sound, rhythm and movement with Arts for the Aging teaching artists Wendy Lanxner and Sandy Roachford in Music and Move! This interactive workshop blends familiar songs and gentle movements while encouraging participants to discover emotional and physical connections to music. Wendy provides accompaniment with a variety of musical instruments and Sandy encourages and guides participants to explore the movements these sounds inspire. Featured musical instruments may include flute, guitar, glockenspiel, hand percussion, bass, mandolin and pan flute.
This class is for residents of Fairfax County and the Cities of Fairfax and Falls Church only.
