Alert:
Thursday, February 25, 1:15-2:15 p.m.
Guest Performer! Arts for the Aging Teaching Artist Sandra Roachford encourages you to be Free to Move and take a break from your daily routine in this spirited workshop. Participants may gather props and objects from home such as scarves, handkerchiefs, or a small ball to enhance the experience. Seated or standing older adults and caregivers work together to create free form dances inspired by discussions that connect to thoughts, emotions, and memories. Classical music and Big Band selections promote an atmosphere for reminiscence and ease of movement.
Please Note: Due to health and safety concerns and to avoid unnecessary disruptions, classes will close 10 minutes after their start time and new participants will not be admitted.
This class is for residents of Fairfax County and the Cities of Fairfax and Falls Church only.
