Fairfax County Disaster Recovery Resources Flyer 2019

Fairfax County continues to support residents and businesses recovering from extreme flooding on July 8, 2019.

You can complete your application online anytime by going to https://DisasterLoan.SBA.gov/ELA

The Deadlines for Applying are:
1. Physical Damage – Businesses, non-profits, homeowners and renters are eligible to apply for loans for un-insured or under-insured physical damages (including personal property, real estate and vehicles). The application deadline for all types of physical disaster loans is Oct. 7, 2019.

2. Assistance for economic losses - Small businesses and non-profit organizations are also eligible to apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs). These are working capital loans at 4 percent interest. They have a longer application period. The EIDL deadline is not until May 7, 2020.

Update

August 21, 2019: Fairfax County residents affected by the July 8th rain event can apply for low interest loans to assist with their recovery.  Residents can apply online at https://DisasterLoan.SBA.gov/ELA or by calling 1 (800) 877-8339.  Deadlines for applications regarding physical damage are Oct. 7, 2019 and financial assistance for economic loss are due by May 7, 2020.
