The Reston Community Center is seeking a Head Lifeguard for the Terry L. Smith Aquatic Center. The Head Lifeguard will be responsible for ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. This position is classified as E-Status Non-Merit Benefit eligible.
Qualifications: Must have two or more years of Lifeguarding experience. Employment is contingent upon current certification of American Red Cross Lifeguard Training for the Professional Rescuer, CPR, First Aid and Emergency Oxygen Administration. American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor certification preferred. National Parks and Recreation Association Aquatic Facility Operator License or comparable preferred.
